Soul of Southside Festival

The inaugural Soul of Southside Festival is an intergenerational festival that celebrates the rich and diverse history that exists in Tallahassee’s Southside. This hybrid event will offer in-person and virtual participation experiences that blend education and entertainment and explores the historic influence of Southside and its residents on Tallahassee’s economic and human development.
The Festival features neighborhood history tours, a Youth Entrepreneurship EXPO + Pitch Competition, food truck + festival vendor expo opportunities, and a 3-day street festival of diverse entertainment that culminates in a neo-soul, gospo-inspirational music showcase that honors Southside neighborhood trailblazers and community icons.
