Indianhead Lehigh Acres

Indianhead Lehigh Acres was founded in the 1950s and has grown to include over 900 homes. The neighborhood boasts two parks with a baseball field, volleyball courts, basketball court, children’s play equipment, open fields as well as a lovely greenway with walking path and stream. This is a one-of-a-kind community that comes together for potlucks several times a year, and for annual events such as Nene Fest and a long-standing tradition of Halloween in the Park. In 2014, the neighborhood added a 5K & Fun Run to our Nene Fest event as a fundraiser for our neighborhood school, Hartsfield Elementary. The Indianhead Lehigh neighborhood has a creative spirit where neighbors share, connect and organize efforts to maintain and improve this vibrant community.
