To engage and represent the residents of Indianhead Lehigh while protecting and preserving the natural beauty and quality of life in the neighborhood.
Neighbors agree… life is good in Neneland.
Indianhead Lehigh Acres was founded in the 1950s and has grown to include over 900 homes. The neighborhood boasts two parks with a baseball field, volleyball courts, basketball court, children’s play equipment, open fields as well as a lovely greenway with walking path and stream. This is a one-of-a-kind community that comes together for potlucks several times a year, and for annual events such as Nene Fest and a long-standing tradition of Halloween in the Park. In 2014, the neighborhood added a 5K & Fun Run to our Nene Fest event as a fundraiser for our neighborhood school, Hartsfield Elementary. The Indianhead Lehigh neighborhood has a creative spirit where neighbors share, connect and organize efforts to maintain and improve this vibrant community.
